Confidence Management Solutions (CMS) is seeking a Floor Tech in Lake City, FL. The role involves maintaining all facility floors, operating floor scrubbing machines and buffers, and ensuring a clean, safe environment in a nursing home or hospital setting.

Shifts include Day and Evening, with alternating weekends and holidays. On-the-job training provided. Walk-ins welcome at Lake City Nursing Home.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Environmental Services or housekeeping experience a plus.
• Healthcare facility experience preferred.
• Ability to operate floor scrubbing machines and buffers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain floors by sweeping, mopping, and buffing throughout the facility.
• Operate floor care equipment safely and properly.
• Keep equipment in good working condition and stored after use.
• Dispose of facility garbage and maintain cleanliness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Confidence Management Solutions (CMS) is currently recruiting experienced Floor Tech for long term care nursing facility in Lake City, FL.

Lake City Nursing Home. 298 SW Prosperity Place, Lake City Florida 32024.

Floor Tech Key Duties

• Maintain all floors by sweeping mopping, vacuuming, shampooing, stripping, waxing, and buffing throughout the facility.


• Various pieces of equipment are properly and safely operated such as extractor, auto-scraper, high speed buffer, shop vac, side-to-side buffer, vacuum, and steam machine.


• Maintains equipment in good working condition and stores properly in designated locations after each use.


• Dispose of all garbage throughout the facility.


• Perform other job-related duties as they become required.

Floor Tech Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).


• Environmental Services or housekeeping experience a plus.


• Prior experience working in a nursing home, hospital or healthcare environment a plus.


• Ability to operate automatic floor scrubbing machines and floor buffers.
