Confidence Management Solutions, LLC is actively seeking an experienced Floor Tech for a long-term care facility in Rome, NY. The role is full-time with day and evening shifts, alternating weekends and holidays, onsite in Rome, NY.

Compensation ranges from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour and on-the-job training is provided. The position requires floor care duties, equipment operation, and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Environmental Services or housekeeping experience a plus.
• Prior experience in nursing home, hospital or healthcare environment a plus.
• Ability to operate automatic floor scrubbing machines and floor buffers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all floors by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, shampooing, stripping, waxing, and buffing throughout the facility.
• Operate equipment such as extractor, auto-scraper, high speed buffer, shop vac, side-to-side buffer, vacuum, and steam machine.
• Maintains equipment in good working condition and stores properly in designated locations after each use.
• Dispose of all garbage throughout the facility.
• Perform other job-related duties as they become required.

Floor Tech Key Duties

• Maintain all floors by sweeping mopping, vacuuming, shampooing, stripping, waxing, and buffing throughout the facility.


• Various pieces of equipment are properly and safely operated such as extractor, auto-scraper, high speed buffer, shop vac, side-to-side buffer, vacuum, and steam machine.
