Job summary

Confidence Management Solutions, LLC is recruiting for Floor Tech to support nursing homes, senior living, hospitals and healthcare facilities in the Binghamton area. This full-time role offers day and evening shifts, alternating weekends, with on-the-job training and immediate hire based on experience.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and may have Environmental Services or housekeeping experience; prior nursing home/healthcare exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Environmental Services or housekeeping experience is a plus.
• Prior experience in nursing homes, hospitals, or healthcare environments is a plus.
• Ability to operate automatic floor scrubbing machines and floor buffers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all floors by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, shampooing, stripping, waxing, refinishing and buffing throughout the facility.
• Operate and safely use floor cleaning equipment listed above.
• Maintain equipment in good working condition and store properly after use.
• Dispose of garbage throughout the facility.
• Perform other job-related duties as required.

Floor Tech Full-Time and Part-time Positions Available. NURSING HOME, SENIOR LIVING, HOSPITAL, HEALTHCARE EXPERIENCE PREFFERED!

Floor Tech Shifts: Day and Evening Shifts, Alternating Weekends, Holidays. We provide on-the-job training! Immediate Hire! Starting rate will depend on experience!

Confidence Management Solutions (CMS) is currently recruiting experienced Floor Tech for long term care nursing facility in Binghamton/Endicott, NY. Absolut Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing, 301 Nantucket Drive, Endicott, NY 13760.

Floor Tech Key Duties

• Maintain all floors by sweeping mopping, vacuuming, shampooing, stripping, waxing, refinishing and buffing throughout the facility.
• Various pieces of equipment are properly and safely operated such as extractor, auto-scraper, high speed buffer, shop vac, side-to-side buffer, vacuum, and steam machine.
• Maintains equipment in good working condition and stores properly in designated locations after each use.
• Dispose of all garbage throughout the facility.
• Perform other job-related duties as they become required.

Floor Tech Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Environmental Services or housekeeping experience a plus.
• Prior experience working in a nursing home, hospital or healthcare environment a plus.
• Ability to operate automatic floor scrubbing machines and floor buffers.
