Job summary

Ace Retail Group is seeking a Floor Supervisor to help manage store operations and lead staff in the absence of senior management. The role focuses on customer service, product knowledge, and smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities include opening/closing the store, supporting loss prevention, merchandising, and maintaining a positive work environment for associates. Strong interpersonal skills and prior retail management are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Hardware store experience preferred.
• Standing, walking, lifting up to 25 lbs and climbing required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing overall store operations and assume primary responsibility in the absence of the General Manager/Assistant Managers.
• Lead customer service efforts, greet customers, resolve complaints and ensure product knowledge and store layout familiarity.
• Oversee opening/closing procedures and implement Store Support Center programs.
• Assist with loss prevention, safety, audits, and merchandising across the sales floor and stock areas.
• Train and develop associates, participate in store meetings, and communicate issues to management.
• Ensure signage, pricing updates, and merchandising resets are completed accurately and timely.
