Job summary

Westlake Ace Hardware is seeking a Floor Supervisor to help manage overall store operations and to assume primary responsibility in the absence of the General Manager or Assistant Managers. You will supervise staff and ensure excellent customer service while maintaining store standards.

Additionally, you will support opening/closing duties, merchandising, safety, and loss prevention, helping to uphold Ace’s values and drive store performance.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent.
• Driven, energetic sales professional with strong commitment to customers.
• Ability to learn quickly and retain information.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Standing, walking, lifting (up to 25lbs) and climbing.
• Previous retail management experience preferred.
• Hardware experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Project a positive representation of Westlake Ace Hardware.
• Greet customers and assist with problems.
• Manage store operations in the absence of the General Manager and Assistant Managers.
• Supervise associates and provide training.
• Ensure loss prevention, safety and internal audits.
• Open and close the store and support merchandising updates.
