Job summary

CAMCO CHEMICAL seeks an Operations Supervisor to oversee a department on 2nd shift, guiding labor, safety, quality and efficiency. You will lead the team toward departmental goals and continuously improve procedures; strong emphasis on training, process optimization, and safe work practices.

The role requires hands-on leadership, adherence to policies, and collaboration with inventory control and other teams to minimize losses and maximize uptime.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ proven experience in an operations management position.
• Bilingual communication skills (Spanish) - preferred.
• Knowledge of general business software; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excels in conflict management, leadership, organization, and decision making.

Responsibilities

• Supervise department operations to ensure safety, quality, labor efficiency, and cost control.
• Lead and direct the team to meet department goals.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized workspace and follow all policies.
• Select, train, coach, and discipline team members as needed.
• Contribute to strategic plans and provide recommendations.
• Forecast requirements, analyze variances, identify root causes, and initiate corrective actions.
• Improve processes, workflow, and equipment layouts; implement changes.
• Ensure a safe workplace and compliance with regulations.
