Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking an Operations Supervisor to direct warehouse teams, ensure safety, quality, and efficiency in daily operations. The role requires planning, scheduling, coaching, and adherence to SOPs while driving continuous improvement across the distribution network.

The position includes approximately 25% travel and requires a four-year degree with prior warehousing and supervisory experience. Strong PC skills and a commitment to safety are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience in warehousing, distribution, or related fields.
• At least six months of supervisory experience.
• Proficient PC skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Direct the work of associates in the warehouse/distribution environment.
• Ensure safety and quality of work across departments.
• Plan work volumes, schedules and workflow for cost effectiveness.
• Allocate duties and examine work for quality and policy conformity.
• Schedule inventories and periodic checks.
• Oversee shipping of outbound orders with accuracy.
• Provide written and oral instructions as needed.
• Maintain associate accountability per SOPs.
• Resolve conflicts and maintain harmony among staff.
• Manage employee time and attendance adjustments.
• Mentor and coach staff; conduct performance evaluations.
• Support safety programs and participate on safety committee.
• Aid in developing new processes and process improvements.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by General Manager.
