YOUR ROLE WITH THE COMPANY:
The Floor Manager is responsible for assisting with all operations of the restaurant. Responsibilities include:
- Lead daily dining room operations with a strong floor presence, ensuring smooth service execution, thoughtful pacing, and consistently exceptional guest experiences
- Anticipate guest needs and create warm, personalized hospitality while overseeing VIPs, special occasions, reservations, and seating strategy
- Partner closely with culinary and dining room leadership to coordinate service, maintain strong communication between teams, and uphold the standards of a chef-driven restaurant
- Train, coach, and develop front-of-house team members, fostering professionalism, teamwork, accountability, and a shared commitment to hospitality excellence
- Maintain high standards for food and beverage knowledge, presentation, cleanliness, sanitation, and overall dining room organization
- Support key operational goals including sales, labor and cost awareness, employee retention, guest satisfaction, and continuous improvement of service standards
BACKGROUND PROFILE:
- 2+ years of management experience in a $6M+ chef-driven upscale restaurant environment
- Strong knowledge of and genuine passion for food, wine, and hospitality, with a commitment to delivering thoughtful, memorable guest experiences
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop a high-performing front-of-house team
- Confident, energetic, and detail-oriented floor presence, with a hands-on, people-focused approach to service and daily operations
