COS in New York is seeking a Floor Manager to lead a team of Sales Advisors and elevate the customer experience on the shop floor. You will blend strong product knowledge with energetic leadership to inspire the team, drive sales, and uphold brand standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and the daily execution of store operations while maintaining exceptional service and presentation.

Qualifications

• Store operations knowledge from retail experience, preferably fashion.
• Customer-focused leadership, prioritizing customer needs to deliver great service.
• Product passion and enthusiasm for sharing it with customers.
• Eager to learn, open to feedback and development opportunities.
• Excellent communication, clear direction and constructive feedback.
• Adaptability and flexibility to changing priorities and requests.
• Analytical thinking with understanding of key retail KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high level of customer service through styling advice, product knowledge and engaging store experience.
• Analyse sales data and collaborate with Store Manager to maximise department performance.
• Lead and motivate a team of Sales Advisors to consistently meet service and presentation standards.
• Support recruitment and ensure effective onboarding and training for new team members.
• Identify and nurture future talent, contributing to development plans for progression.
• Oversee daily store operations, ensuring efficiency and alignment with brand standards.
• Act as a brand ambassador, delivering the best possible experience for every customer.
• Step into Store Manager role when required, ensuring continuity in leadership and performance.
