Job summary

COS in Washington, DC is seeking a Floor Manager to drive exceptional customer experiences and lead a dedicated team on the shop floor. You’ll set a welcoming tone, ensure operational excellence, and translate brand standards into daily actions.

Responsibilities include coaching Sales Advisors, analyzing sales data with the Store Manager, and stepping in as Store Manager when needed. A strong focus on people development and store performance is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail operations, preferably fashion.
• Customer-focused and able to lead by example.
• Passion for products and sharing enthusiasm with customers.
• Open to feedback and development opportunities.
• Clear, confident communication with customers and team.
• Adaptable to changing priorities and requests.
• Understanding of retail KPIs and how to drive performance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service through expert styling advice and product knowledge.
• Analyse sales data with the Store Manager to maximise department performance.
• Lead and motivate a team of Sales Advisors to meet service and presentation standards.
• Support recruitment and onboarding for new team members.
• Identify future talent and contribute to development plans.
• Oversee daily store operations in line with brand standards.
• Act as a brand ambassador and deliver memorable customer experiences.
• Step in as Store Manager when required to ensure leadership continuity.
