Job summary

Opensity Solutions is seeking a Floor Host to deliver hospitality-focused support on office floors in a corporate environment. You will assist guests, coordinate meetings, verify room setups, and ensure spaces are ready and welcoming for events and client meetings.

The role requires strong communication, multitasking in a fast-paced setting, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in a service industry such as hotel/restaurant or events
• Strong technical skills including MS Office and AV equipment
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment
• Good listening, professional demeanor, and ability to interact with clients at all levels
• Maintain professional appearance and be able to lift/move up to 40 lbs

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time support for meetings on all office floors and connect with organizers and guests
• Verify room requirements before meetings to meet client expectations
• Conduct floor tours to keep spaces in optimal condition
• Identify creative solutions and act as first point of contact for queries
• Answer questions in person, by email, and by phone with timely responses
• Support guests' hoteling culture and securing workspace
• Verify occupancy and reclaim unused meeting space as needed
• Optimize meeting rooms and ensure reserved spaces are used
• Monitor room activity and handle no-shows or timing issues
• Coordinate with facility team to address maintenance issues and reset rooms for next meeting
• Provide a contact card for in-meeting support and wrap up by resetting rooms
