Job summary

Opensity Solutions is seeking a Floor Host to deliver a hospitality-based experience on-site at our San Jose, CA location. You will greet guests, direct assistance, and coordinate with meeting organizers to ensure spaces are ready with proper lighting, AV, and comfort.

The role requires energy, strong communication, and professional demeanor. Responsibilities include real-time support for meetings, room verification prior to events, and maintaining an inviting environment.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ experience in a service industry such as hotel, restaurant, hospitality or events preferred.
• Strong technical skills with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs and AV equipment.
• Able to stand for extended periods and navigate clients at all levels.
• Excellent listening and professional demeanor with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time floor support for meetings and connect with organizers and guests.
• Verify room requirements and ensure client expectations are met.
• Perform floor tours and maintain pristine space appearance and readiness.
• Support guests with workspace setup and coordinate with facilities for issues.
• Monitor room occupancy, bookings, and close workspace at scheduled times.
