Job summary

Convive Brands is seeking an Assistant General Manager for Le Pain Quotidien to lead the restaurant team, elevate guest experience, and drive strong business results. This hands-on hospitality leader will work closely with the General Manager to balance exceptional service with operational and financial performance.

You will develop people, coach leaders, recruit and retain a high-performing team, and ensure consistent execution across opening, service, and closing shifts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of restaurant leadership experience.
• Must have NYC Food Handlers License to be considered.
• Proficiency in Spanish, French, or Arabic is a plus.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead from the floor and coach the team during service.
• Own the guest experience, resolve concerns with empathy and urgency.
• Develop people and build culture across the team.
• Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, develop, and retain staff.
• Lead opening, service, and closing with strong shift communication.
