Job summary

Carlson Building Maintenance is hiring a Floor Care Technician in Sturgeon Bay, WI. You will operate floor care equipment, scrub and buff floors, and clean carpets in a large retail setting while receiving hands-on training and the potential for career growth.

The role requires weekend availability and a consistent 7-day schedule, with weekly pay and benefits. Training is provided, and a supportive team environment encourages independent work and reliability.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull floor care equipment.
• Strong attendance and reliability.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Previous floor care, janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, commercial cleaning, or maintenance experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate floor scrubbers, buffers, extractors, and other floor care equipment.
• Maintain hard floor surfaces through scrubbing, buffing, stripping, and waxing.
• Vacuum, shampoo, bonnet, and extract carpeted areas.
• Perform general cleaning and restroom cleaning as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and cleaning standards.
• Inspect equipment and report maintenance concerns.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment.
• Complete assigned cleaning projects independently and efficiently.

Do you enjoy working independently and seeing the results of your work every day? Carlson Building Maintenance is hiring a Floor Care Technician in Sturgeon Bay, WI. In this role, you'll help maintain hard floor surfaces and carpets in a large retail environment while operating professional floor care equipment and building valuable maintenance skills. No floor care experience? We can train the right candidate.

Location: Sturgeon Bay, WI

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Weekly Pay Every Friday

Schedule 6:00 AM - 11:09 AM

Approximately 36 Hours Per Week

Consistent Early Morning Schedule

Weekend Availability Required

Must Be Available to Work a Consistent 7-Day Schedule
