Job summary

SOUTHSIDE MARKET & BBQ INC in Bastrop, TX is seeking team members for part-time dishwashing and customer service roles. You will help maintain a clean dining and kitchen environment while delivering Texas-friendly hospitality.

No experience? Food Handler certificate required; English fluency; ability to lift up to 40 pounds; you will join a team that values servant leadership and authentic hospitality.

Qualifications

• Food Handler Certificate required prior to day 1.
• Ability to listen, read, write and speak fluently in English for all job related circumstances.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.

Responsibilities

• Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through dish machine.
• Sort and stack clean dishes.
• Carry clean dishes to service line and other proper storage areas.
• Wash pots, pans and trays by hand
• Remove trash and garbage to dumpster
• Set up or break down dishwashing area
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dish-washing station
• Complete other duties as assigned

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
