Job summary

Columbia Bank is seeking a Teller - Float to serve as the first point of contact for clients, performing accurate teller transactions and supporting branch operations across a geographic area. The role requires attention to detail, confidentiality, and strong customer service to align with the Breakthrough Client Service Standards.

The position may travel within a geographic area to cover staffing needs and may offer eligibility for incentive compensation based on performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year banking or customer service experience preferred.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Ability to learn and comply with bank policies, procedures, and systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform teller transactions with accuracy and confidentiality (deposits, withdrawals, payments, checks).
• Balance cash drawer and handle cash logistics, including ATM operations and night drops.
• Assist branches as float to cover staffing needs across the geographic area.
• Provide proactive solutions and customer service aligned with Breakthrough Client Service Standards.
