Job summary

Columbia Bank is seeking a Teller - Float in Renton, WA to serve as the first point of contact for clients, performing teller transactions and ensuring accuracy and compliance across branches throughout the region.

Under guidance, you will handle deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and cash handling with careful attention to detail while upholding the bank's Breakthrough Client Service Standards. Onsite position with a competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of banking or customer service experience preferred.
• Bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Always performs teller transactions and cash handling functions for clients with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Accurately performs and supports daily tasks that maintain the integrity of the branch.
• Mitigate risk by ensuring safekeeping of money in cash drawer and prompt accounting or transfer of funds.
• Interacts with external and internal clients, anticipates needs, and provides proactive solutions.
• Continuously deepens knowledge of Columbia Bank's product and service offerings and stays current on changes.
• Discuss and uncover customer’s financial needs to identify and offer appropriate products and services.
• Supports referral goals for branch by focusing on basic bank products.
