Job summary

Columbia Bank is seeking a Teller - Float to be the first point of contact for clients and cover branches needing staffing support within a defined geographic area. You will perform teller transactions, balance cash drawers, and maintain confidentiality while adhering to bank procedures and standards.

This onsite role emphasizes accurate cash handling, risk mitigation, and proactive client solutions while building relationships with clients and staff across branches.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of banking or customer service experience preferred.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Ability to learn and comply with all Bank policies, procedures, and systems.
• Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and accuracy with numbers and written/verbal instructions.
• Strong relationship-building with clients and bank associates.

Responsibilities

• Always performs teller transactions and cash handling with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Balance cash drawer and support ATM and night drop tasks.
• Mitigate risk and ensure safekeeping of money in cash drawer.
• Interact with clients and provide proactive solutions in line with Breakthrough Client Service Standards.
• Deepen knowledge of Columbia Bank's products and services and stay updated on changes.
• Identify customer financial needs and refer to appropriate products and partners.
