Job summary

HCA Florida Ocala Hospital is seeking a Float Pool ICU RN to join our team. You would float between several different areas across the nursing spectrum, supporting a collaborative care model.

The role emphasizes patient/family advocacy, nursing assessments, and continuous improvement in plan-based care. Florida RN license and 2 years bedside nursing in acute care are preferred; ACLS/BLS required within specified timeframes.

Qualifications

• Florida RN license or approved multistate license.
• Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation.
• Associate degree, BSN preferred.
• 2 years of recent bedside nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
• ACLS must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 90 days of hire.
• No Travel Required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the patient and family advocate, protecting privacy and confidentiality.
• Facilitate patient care making nursing assessments and diagnosis.
• Provide plan-based care with a commitment to continuous improvement.
