Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Floating Assistant Property Manager to support the property manager across daily operations, lease administration, and resident experience at our Dallas properties.

The role requires 2–3 years of property management experience, a high school diploma (bachelor’s preferred), and familiarity with Yardi Voyager. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s preferred.
• 2–3 years property management experience required.
• Knowledge of resident rental lifecycle activities required.
• Real estate license preferred or may be required locally.
• Experience with Yardi Voyager or similar system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the property manager with day-to-day property operations, resident satisfaction, retention, and full lifecycle activities.
• Understand operations guidelines in the property management agreement.
• Manage accounts receivable including rent collection and posting; maintain rent roll.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial and leasing reports.
• Audit lease records and resident files for accuracy.
• Process move-ins, move-outs, and lease renewals.
• Inspect buildings and grounds; alert maintenance to repairs.
• Assist with training staff on leasing, marketing, maintenance, and general office operations.
• Assist with resident relations and problem resolution.
• Act in property manager’s absence when needed.
