Avenue5 Residential in Oakland, CA is seeking a Floating Property Manager to oversee day-to-day operations across properties. You will manage resident relations, lease administration, vendor contracts, and monthly reporting to maintain high service standards.

The role requires 2–3 years in property management, strong organizational and communication skills, and a valid driver's license. This is a full-time, Monday–Friday position offering competitive hourly pay and a holistic benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Two to three years of property management experience required.
• One to two years of direct management experience required.
• Knowledge of resident rental lifecycle activities is required.
• Real estate license is preferred or may be required in some locations.
• Knowledge of Salesforce.com is preferred.
• Prior experience with Yardi Voyager or similar system is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day property operations, resident satisfaction, and lease lifecycle activities.
• Oversee client expectations, customer service, and vendor contracts.
• Recruiting, interviewing, feedback, and hiring responsibilities.
• Provide coaching and development to associates and lead a shared vision.
• Execute marketing plans to attract and retain residents.
• Follow operations guidelines within the property management agreement.
• Respond to resident complaints and liaise with corporate office.
• Maintain professional knowledge through workshops and networks.
• Organize site disaster planning and emergency evacuations.
• Monitor safety records, loss claims, and risk management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
