Geode Health is hiring a Practice Assistant (Float) to support Conyers, Snellville, and Peachtree Corners offices. You will handle front-office tasks, coordinate patient needs, and assist providers in a fast-paced outpatient mental health setting.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in medical admin, strong communication, and comfort with EMR platforms like Athena. This full-time, on-site role includes competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of medical office or healthcare experience preferred.
• Mental health or outpatient clinical experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and computer skills.
• Comfortable answering the phone and assisting patients.
• Self-starter with strong time management and adaptability.
• Familiar with EMR systems; willingness to learn new platforms.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact with patients and provide friendly service.
• Manage daily schedules, confirmations, cancellations, and waitlists.
• Coordinate patient intake, referrals, authorizations, and forms.
• Assist with day-to-day clinical and administrative workflows.
• Collect payments and document co-pays and balances.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
