You will perform blood collections, collect specimens for tests, and enter patient data accurately, while delivering excellent patient service. A phlebotomy certification or approved training is required, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 2 years or more of phlebotomy experience.
• 3 years or more of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is required.
• Demonstrated exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
