Job summary

Labcorp in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques and travel to multiple sites as needed.

Schedule is Monday–Friday with rotating Saturdays. Requires high school diploma, phlebotomy certification, and 3+ years of experience. Labcorp offers incentive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program.
• 3 years or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed
