Job summary

LabCorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our Birmingham AL team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, travel to additional sites as needed, and provide excellent patient service.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years of phlebotomy experience, and phlebotomy certification or accredited training. Valid driver's license and ability to pass color vision tests required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of phlebotomy experience required; 3+ years preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification or training from an accredited agency required.
• Demonstrated customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
