Job summary

Labcorp seeks a Float Phlebotomist to join our Terre Haute, IN team. The schedule is Monday–Friday with variable hours and rotating Saturdays. You will perform venipuncture, collect samples for various tests, and ensure accurate data entry and billing processes.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, independence, and the ability to travel to multiple sites. Phlebotomy certification or training is required or preferred, with overtime flexibility and color-blindness screening noted.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from accredited agency.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
