Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our Fort Wayne, IN team. You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections across patient ages, travel to multiple sites, and maintain accurate specimen data.

We value strong communication, independent work, and a customer-service mindset. Requirements include high school diploma or GED, phlebotomy experience or certification, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
