Job summary

Labcorp in Bloomington, MN seeks a Float Phlebotomist to join our team. This full-time role involves traveling to multiple sites, performing venipuncture and capillary blood collections, and delivering compassionate, accurate patient service.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma; preferred phlebotomy certification or training or 6+ months experience. Schedule is Mon-Fri with shifts 7:00am–6:00pm, overtime possible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 6+ months experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
