Job summary

Publix Pharmacy is seeking a Floating Pharmacist to support multiple store locations in the Florida region. This role emphasizes patient-centric care, MTM services, immunizations, and pharmacy operations excellence, with opportunities for growth into management or specialized pharmacy areas.

The ideal candidate will have a PharmD, an active pharmacist license, and strong communication skills to counsel patients, collaborate with teams, and advance clinical initiatives within Publix.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Graduate of a school of pharmacy.
• Must maintain an unrestricted, state pharmacist license.
• No active suspensions, sanctions, or other restrictions related to participation in health programs.
• Preferred immunizing pharmacist status or ability to become one.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class pharmacy service to patients, counseling and building personalized relationships.
• Lead and motivate staff as pharmacist-on-duty while ensuring tasks are completed on time.
• Support clinical initiatives such as MTM and immunizations at assigned locations.
• Ensure compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in prescription processing and operations.
• Mentor team members on Publix pharmacy best practices to maximize service and sales.
