Job summary

Publix Pharmacy is seeking a Floating Pharmacist to support multiple pharmacy locations. You will lead drug dispensing, patient counseling, MTM services, and immunizations while mentoring staff and ensuring high standards of care.

The role emphasizes clinical initiatives, customer service, and the ability to adapt to different pharmacy settings within the Publix network. A PharmD and active license are required.

Qualifications

• Be immunizing pharmacist meeting state requirements (preferred)
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to interpret and understand instructions and solve problems
• Numerical and financial aptitude
• Knowledge of retail merchandising and inventory control

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class pharmacy service to patients, counseling and building relationships.
• Mentor staff on Publix pharmacy practices to maximize sales and service.
• Advance pharmacy clinical initiatives including MTM and immunizations.
• Maintain a flexible work-week schedule to meet customer needs.
• Assist in all other duties as assigned.
