Job summary

Publix Pharmacy is seeking a Floating Pharmacist to support multiple pharmacy locations, ensuring consistent, patient-centered care and optimal service delivery. You will lead the pharmacy team during shifts, provide counseling, and drive clinical initiatives across stores.

Ideal candidates are licensed pharmacists with MTM and immunization experience, strong communication, problem‑solving skills, and a solid grasp of retail pharmacy operations.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be a graduate of a school of pharmacy.
Must have and maintain an unrestricted, state pharmacist license.
Must not have active suspensions or restrictions related to participation in health insurance programs.

Responsibilities

Provide best-in-class pharmacy service to patients and counsel on medications.
Set priorities to maximize contribution and support the team at the pharmacist-on-duty.
Mentor staff on Publix pharmacy best practices to maximize sales and efficiency.
Advance MTM and immunization initiatives at assigned location.
Ensure timely completion of prescription processing and operational tasks.
