Job summary

Publix Pharmacy is seeking a Floating Pharmacist to support multiple locations with patient-centered care and clinical services. You will lead pharmacy operations in the pharmacist’s absence, provide counseling, and advance immunization and MTM programs to enhance health outcomes.

The role emphasizes teamwork, excellent communication, and commitment to Publix’s community wellness and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Graduate of a school of pharmacy; must hold a valid state license.
• No active suspensions or sanctions related to health insurance participation at hire or thereafter.
• No unacceptable drug test result within the last three years.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class pharmacy service to patients, counseling and building relationships to promote loyalty.
• Lead pharmacy operations in the absence of the pharmacist-in-charge and ensure tasks are completed on time.
• Support MTM and immunization initiatives to advance clinical care.
• Mentor staff on Publix pharmacy practices to maximize sales while minimizing shrink.
