Job summary

Publix Pharmacy is seeking a Floating Pharmacist to join our patient-centric team. You will lead as pharmacist-on-duty, guide staff, and deliver best-in-class service, including counseling, MTM and immunizations, at assigned locations. The role emphasizes flexibility, teamwork, and ongoing clinical initiatives to improve health outcomes for customers and communities.

Requirements include a Pharm.D. with an unrestricted license and a dedication to customer care.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Graduate of a school of pharmacy.
• Must have an unrestricted state pharmacist license.
• Must not have active suspensions, sanctions, or other restrictions related to participation in a health program.
• Must not have an unacceptable drug test result within the last three years.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedication to each pharmacy’s success by leading as the pharmacist-on-duty.
• Set priorities to maximize contribution and support the team.
• Deliver best-in-class pharmacy service through counseling, MTM and immunizations.
• Mentor staff on Publix pharmacy best practices to maximize sales and minimize shrink.
• Advance clinical initiatives including MTM and immunizations.
• Maintain a flexible work-week schedule to meet customer needs.
• Assist in all other duties as assigned.
