Job summary

The Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation in Grapevine, TX is seeking a Patient Service Specialist (PSS) - Float for a full-time role. The position covers multiple outpatient clinics and includes scheduling, intake, data entry, insurance verification, and reviewing benefits with patients.

You will travel between clinics, support center managers, collect copays, and assist with billing reports and other administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Willingness to travel to multiple outpatient clinics.

Responsibilities

• Process referrals and schedule patients, complete the intake process and data entry.
• Verify patient insurance and obtain required authorizations.
• Explain benefits and financial responsibilities to patients.
• Collect copays and schedule patients; prepare billing reports.
• Maintain the electronic medical record and other administrative tasks.
• Travel to non-home location centers for coverage when necessary.
