Job summary

HALO Precision Diagnostics is seeking a Patient Navigator (Patient Support & Phlebotomy) to guide patients through hereditary cancer testing across East Phoenix/East Valley partner sites. This full-time, in-person role combines education, care coordination, specimen collection, and clinic collaboration to ensure a seamless patient journey.

You will perform venipuncture, coordinate scheduling, verify insurance as needed, and maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation in EMR/EHR systems while

Qualifications

• Nationally certified phlebotomist with venipuncture skills.
• 2+ years clinical experience in front/back-office healthcare.
• 2+ years of insurance verification and prior authorizations experience.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Ability to travel between East Phoenix/East Valley partner locations.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Guide patients through hereditary cancer genetic testing from scheduling to results.
• Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens with proper labeling and handling.
• Educate patients on testing steps, procedures, and next steps.
• Coordinate scheduling, follow-ups, and workflows with partner sites.
• Document accurately in EMR/EHR systems and maintain HIPAA compliance.
