Job summary

HALO Precision Diagnostics is seeking a dedicated Patient Navigator to guide patients through education, scheduling, specimen collection, and insurance processes for hereditary cancer testing. You will serve as the primary contact across partner sites, ensuring compassionate communication and accurate data entry in EMR/EHR systems.

Your responsibilities include phlebotomy support, coordinating with clinicians and support teams, and resolving barriers to testing while maintaining HIPAA compliance

Qualifications

• Nationally certified phlebotomist with strong venipuncture skills.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience (front office or back office).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with insurance verification and prior authorizations.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience with diagnostic or genetic specimen collection.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if travel is required).

Responsibilities

• Guide patients through the hereditary cancer genetic testing process from start to finish with clear, compassionate education about testing, procedures, and next steps.
• Serve as the primary patient contact to ensure a supportive and informed experience.
• Coordinate appointment scheduling, specimen collection, follow-up, and communication with patients and partner sites.
• Build strong relationships with partner site staff and clinical teams to support daily workflow integration.
• Own patient cases, scheduling, follow-ups, and workflow coordination; identify and resolve barriers to testing or completion.
