HALO Precision Diagnostics is seeking a Floating Patient Navigator to provide coverage across Reno-area clinics. The role includes phlebotomy, patient education, and care coordination to guide patients through hereditary cancer testing.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in clinical settings, phlebotomy skills, and experience with insurance verifications. This in-person, full-time position offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities within HALO Dx.

Qualifications

• Current national phlebotomy certification.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in front- or back-office healthcare.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with insurance verification and prior authorizations.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Willingness to travel between Reno locations.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide floating coverage across Reno-area clinics.
• Perform venipuncture and collect specimens for testing.
• Educate patients about hereditary cancer testing and next steps.
• Coordinate scheduling, follow-ups and patient workflows.
• Document accurately in EMR/EHR and maintain records.
• Collaborate with partner clinics and clinical teams.
