Job summary

HALO Precision Diagnostics is seeking a Float Patient Navigator to support hereditary cancer genetic testing across Peoria and partner sites. This role combines patient education, care coordination, and phlebotomy within a multidisciplinary team to deliver a seamless patient experience.

The position requires national phlebotomy certification, 2+ years clinical/insurance verification experience, and HIPAA-compliant documentation. In-person work across Peoria and Laveen locations.

Qualifications

• Nationally certified phlebotomist with strong venipuncture skills.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience (front or back office).
• Minimum of 2 years of insurance verification and pre-authorization experience.
• Current BLS certification and ability to perform venipuncture for genetic testing.

Responsibilities

• Guide patients through hereditary cancer genetic testing processes end-to-end.
• Coordinate education, scheduling, specimen collection, and follow-up with patients and partner sites.
• Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens for genetic testing in compliance with protocols.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation and accurate EMR/EHR entries.
