Job summary

First Harvest Credit Union in Deptford, NJ is seeking a Float Member Services Specialist II who delivers outstanding service while assisting members with deposits, loans, and account openings. This role requires flexibility to travel to all branches within our network.

You will engage members, meet sales goals, handle loan applications, and stay compliant with regulations. A positive communicator with cash handling experience and strong product knowledge is essential; bilingual English/Spanish

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of customer service.
• Minimum of one year of cash handling.
• At least 6 months experience working as a teller/MRS I or related position in a financial institution, preferred.
• Prior sales experience, preferred.
• Strong knowledge of consumer lending, regulatory requirements and loan processing.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to FHCU Service Standards.
• Conducts transactions including deposits, transfers, withdrawals, loan payments and account openings.
• Engages members to assess financial needs and recommends appropriate products.
• Meets sales goals using various sales techniques.
• Responds to member inquiries about accounts and services.
• Process loan applications and disbursements.
• Travel to other branches as needed and participate in community events.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
