Job summary

Cherry Health is seeking an on-site Medical Assistant to float among clinic locations in Grand Rapids and surrounding sites to cover vacations and staffing needs. You will welcome patients, record vitals, assist with exams, and support diverse clinical teams across primary care, pediatrics, and behavioral health as needed.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of MA experience and completion of an accredited MA program with CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA/ARMA/NRCMA credentials; travel between sites is expected and

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program and/or certification credentials (CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA/ARMA/NRCMA).
• Completion of in-house specialties training including competency in using all organizational electronic health record templates.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, take vitals, immunizations, and point-of-care testing.
• Support providers with examinations and documentation across multiple sites.
• Maintain vaccine program inventory and reporting.
