Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring the physical aspects of the buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality.

Responsibilities include completing work orders and preventative maintenance, prepping vacant units for leasing, managing inventory, and documenting service requests.

Qualifications

• Strong maintenance and repair capabilities across building systems.
• Ability to follow safety policies and code requirements.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and performing repairs.
• Prepares vacant units for leasing through pre-move-out inspections and punch lists.
• Tracks inventory, re-orders supplies, and coordinates with vendors.
• Completes documentation for service requests.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, cleans and performs painting tasks as needed.
• Supports cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible.
