Avenue5 Residential is hiring a Floating Maintenance Technician in Kennewick, WA. You will perform a range of maintenance tasks across apartments and common areas while upholding high standards of service and curb appeal.

The role requires a high school diploma, and at least one year of property management or related experience, plus general carpentry skills. A valid driver’s license and strong English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least one year of experience in the property management industry or directly related field.
• Possess general maintenance and general carpentry skills.

Responsibilities

• Address maintenance duties for apartments and properties as directed by supervisor or manager.
• Perform repairs in electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds as needed.
• Carry out preventative maintenance such as painting, lighting, sprinklers, and safety inspections.
• Maintain work orders to ensure timely completion and resident satisfaction.
• Inspect grounds and buildings for safety and cleanliness, identify issues needing repair.
• Assist with property emergencies and respond to on-call maintenance as required.
• Promote safety and risk management per policy and regulations.
• Provide courteous, professional interaction with residents and teams.
