Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Floating Maintenance Technician to perform on-site maintenance across apartment properties and address a broad range of system repairs while upholding top-tier customer service and curb appeal.

You will handle electrical, plumbing, appliance, carpentry and HVAC tasks, perform preventive maintenance, and maintain safety standards. A valid driver’s license and English proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year of experience in property management or related field preferred.
• General maintenance and general carpentry skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance duties including electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds maintenance as directed.
• Carry out carpentry tasks such as wallboard repair, countertop/cabinet replacement, finish carpentry, window/glass repair, door/lock repair, and tile repair.
• Conduct preventive maintenance such as siding, painting, lighting, sprinkler, pool, elevator, and more.
• Maintain work order system and ensure timely completion to company standards and resident satisfaction.
• Inspect property grounds and common areas to ensure safety, cleanliness and identify needs for repair or replacement.
• Assist with emergencies (snow, weather events, fires, floods) and respond promptly to maintenance issues.
