Job summary

Bell Partners Inc. seeks a Floating Maintenance Technician to perform interior and exterior maintenance across multiple communities within a designated market. This role travels between properties and reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.

You will perform repairs, routine tasks, and respond to resident requests while upholding Bell Core Values, safety protocols, and a strong focus on customer service and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of maintenance experience preferred.
• HVAC, plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, and mechanical systems knowledge.
• EPA and/or CPO certifications may be required in many communities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Availability to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to residents and staff.
• Perform routine interior and exterior maintenance across communities.
• Respond to repair requests and maintenance concerns.
• Report equipment malfunctions or hazards to the Maintenance Supervisor promptly.
• Maintain resident privacy and obtain proper authority before entering apartments.
• Ensure safety by keeping maintenance items in a secure area.
• Attend in-service training and work with vendors as instructed.
• Follow OSHA safety requirements and maintain regular attendance.
• Travel between properties within the designated market.
