S.L. Nusbaum Realty Co. in Virginia Beach is seeking a Floating Assistant Maintenance Manager to supervise the maintenance function across the Cosmopolitan community and to perform a wide range of mechanical and construction tasks.

This essential, full-time role reports to the Service Manager and ensures residents live in a clean, safe, and attractive environment. Responsibilities include responding to service calls, supervising maintenance staff, and performing tasks in HVAC, plumbing,

Qualifications

• Must read and write English.
• General mechanical aptitude with relevant experience.
• EPA Freon Recovery and HVAC certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Abides by Fair Housing Laws.
• Assumes responsibility for all managerial, supervisory, coordination, and administrative duties in the absence of the Service Manager.
• Performs a wide variety of skilled and semi-skilled duties of a mechanical and/or construction nature including HVAC, Plumbing, Painting, Drywall, Laying tile, Carpentry, Welding, Electrical repairs.
• Responds promptly to service calls.
• Performs preventative maintenance on mechanical and lawn care equipment.
• Supervises and participates on-site in the general maintenance and repairs of the properties assigned.
