FiveStar Food Mart in Shepherdsville, KY seeks a Floating Food Service Manager to partner with the General Manager in planning, supervising, and managing food service operations across the five FiveStar locations as assigned. You will communicate with staff, ensure health and safety, merchandise, handle customer service, train employees, and monitor inventory and production guides for portions and temperatures.

The role requires flexibility across shifts and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of food service experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time.
• Knowledge of food service equipment.

Responsabilités

• Partner with General Manager to plan, supervise and manage food service operations.
• Ensure FiveStar customer service as per company policies and procedures.
• Stay informed on health and food safety regulations (sanitation, temperatures, storage, expiration).
• Oversee inventory control, pricing, signage, freshness and presentation of products.
• Train and supervise staff in food service responsibilities.
• Collaborate with GM on communications such as emails and promotions.
