Job summary

InTown Suites is seeking a Floating General Manager to oversee operations at assigned properties when a GM is unavailable. You will manage front-office operations, staff development, and local marketing to meet budgets while ensuring guest satisfaction and safety.

Travel within the market and occasional overnight stays are required. The role requires a valid driver's license, English proficiency, and strong line supervision experience.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable vehicle.
• Read/speak/write English to interact with guests and staff.
• Ability to read/interpret multiple reports and hotel information.
• Mathematical skills for forecasts, revenue, occupancy, and labor costs.
• General computer proficiency and frontline systems knowledge.
• Knowledge of Front Office operations and guest relations.
• Ability to communicate clearly and manage multiple tasks under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Operate properties in GM's absence and maintain daily operations.
• Follow established front-office processes and standards.
• Recruitment support and staff development.
• Drive local marketing and sales to meet budgets.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and safety compliance.
• Identify and resolve maintenance and life/safety issues.
• Travel 90% within market as needed; may require overnight stays.
