Job summary

InTown Suites is seeking a Floating General Manager to oversee operations at assigned properties in the market. The role covers for GMs on days off, vacations and absences, and includes short-term assignments across all properties in the market, including local marketing and staff training.

The candidate will drive sales, supervise front desk and related departments, manage budgets and cost controls, and ensure high-quality guest service.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid driver’s license and a functioning vehicle.
• Read, speak, write and understand English to interact with guests and staff.
• Ability to read and interpret internal hotel reports and data.
• Mathematical skills to prepare forecasts, revenue, occupancy, and labor costs.

Responsibilities

• Operate properties in the absence of a General Manager as needed.
• Follow Daily Flow when acting as General Manager.
• Assist in recruitment and training of staff.
• Drive sales through local marketing and calls.
• Ensure excellent guest service and manage safety issues.
• Travel and overnight stays may be required.
