Job summary

Massage Envy is seeking a Floating General Manager to lead in our Northeastern Illinois region and develop into a permanent General Manager role overseeing an assigned location. You’ll help identify the best fit between leadership strengths and location needs, setting the stage for long-term success.

You will supervise 2–3 locations, coach staff, drive sales and service excellence, and ensure an exceptional client experience while embodying our wellness-first culture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of management experience in spa, fitness, retail or hospitality.
• Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
• Effective communicator and motivator with coaching skills.
• Skilled at interpreting business metrics to drive decisions.
• Organized, proactive and thrives in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations for 2 - 3 locations including scheduling, staffing, inventory, payroll and compliance.
• Lead by example, champion Massage Envy’s core values in every interaction.
• Coach and mentor your team for growth and success.
• Drive performance metrics (sales, member growth, service excellence) to exceed goals.
• Create an exceptional client experience where guests feel seen, heard and cared for.
