Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred and RN licensure active.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program with clinical competencies.
• Two years of recent emergency department nursing experience.
• Willingness to float to multiple locations within the health system.
• Strong communication and clinical assessment skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across units in the float pool.
• Perform comprehensive assessments and develop care plans.
• Communicate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Orient rapidly to different units, care protocols, and populations.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
• Support quality improvement and maintain safe patient care standards.
• Cover day and night shifts as scheduled.
